The Milkman Came Early This Morning

MonoMonday: On My Doorstep
This Acer Palmatum brightens up my doorstep along with a pot of pansies, a tub of dianthus, a collection of shells, stones and two pairs of mucky welly boots...there is also usually a collection of milk bottles, sometimes empty, sometimes full but the milkman came early this morning and so there were none.

Mr Kit spent the day on the phone with the insurance company as he was hit by a deer yesterday on his way back from Whitby and it’s done a lot of damage to his front wing. He was not hurt but unfortunately the deer didn’t make it. The insurance have agreed to pay out but with a hefty excess. Looks like my new laptop may have to wait a bit longer!
