A Day At A Time.

Collections

It's amazing what we collect over the years. I try not to keep too much, but inevitably the memories are important and so the collections grow.

As does the clutter.

This table has memorabilia from the father's side of the family, such as his nursery clock (still keeping good time), a carving given to my grandfather by a grateful Afghan tribal chief in the 1910s, photos and so on. On the wall, a couple of paintings of Liverpool, my university town.

Lovely to look at but a pain to dust!

(And I might arrange them better next time, too.)
