Psychological Warfare
This is psychological warfare at work. Photograph doesn't really explain what JimBob is doing, but he sitting about 10 feet from the kitchen window staring at it. This in turn makes my wife feel bad every time she goes to the sink, which when she is cooking is quite often.
He's been doing this everyday that he's not at work. And in the evenings. And the mornings.
So there he is, with his "let me in look". It's a little cold outside, but he does have a heated shed after all.
We did bring him in earlier to see the house and meet the cats. They didn't like him much, but he wasn't as jumpy as expected, and because he was on a lead was more concerned with going for a walk than sitting around on the sofa.
Note the new collar - big red collar. He killed his 'new' collar the other day, although I was surprised it ever last so long in the first place. So got him a new bright red collar. I could have got him something a bit more masculine like a leather collar, but he's an aggressive looking dog and I'd rather like people to see him as a pet (which is what he is). Hence a non aggressive collar.
Note also the blue tag on the collar! He finally has a license on him, which means the pound won't put him down on sight if he ever runs off. Although him running off is less of a problem these days as he seems to know his home, his master and his place in the pack quite well now. He's more than happy.
We still have the age old argument about who is driving when he jumps in the truck though.
The other thing to note is how well his mange is doing (or not doing). He's finally starting to look quite white again on his main coat. His legs are still very uncovered though, not sure why. He still has a few sores in his skin but they don't bother him, never have really. And everyone who sees him comments about him being a good looking dog. Everyone. "sure is a purrrdy dog you have there"
