...beechen green, and shadows numberless

Went for a walk in a beautiful little park just down the road from us. Warm sunshine, willows and water, coots and their young (cootlings??), ducks and maybe even a goose or two, blackbirds and others singing their heads off, what's not to like?  And we managed to cover quite a distance for HH, who's learning to walk again after 2 1/2 months in hospital following a fractured femur and replacement of a hip replacement. Cautious steps, but no stick!
