Dark already

I thought I'd go up to the allotment today, but decided against it when Mr H went out of the door to get the paper and immediately had his hat blown off into a puddle. It wasn't quite as rainy as yesterday, but much windier. Things are much worse in other parts of the country, mind.

I intended to go out for a stroll around the block later to see if there was a blip in sight, but looked up from the computer to see that the streetlight opposite had just come on. Dammit, I thought the days were supposed to be drawing out......
