snack time....

Took Fidelis to the elephant orphanage today!  Only 4 babies there right now but its always fun to watch them being fed and having some fun with each other.  There were few people there today which was great for us.  The ranger was telling us that he has worked with elephants for many years and he had a scary experience in Kafue National Park (where these elephants eventually are rehabilitated into the wild).  He was visiting there after having worked there 5 years before.  Some big elephants started coming quickly towards him and he became scared.  He didn't realise they were the same elephants he had cared for years before and they were just coming to greet him.  So...the saying is true that elephants never forget!
