On Inis Mor - Aran Island

Dear Diary,

A wonderful day on Inis Mor in the Aran Islands. We all arrive safely, no seasickness, I’m glad to say. Henry was a great sailor. This is a photo of two of my traveling companions at the Seven Churches, the site of a 7th century monastery. Wonderful. We hike up to Dun Aonghasa, a 2,500 year old ring fort...the oldest in Europe. Exhausting day but soooo worth it.
