Growing in the gravel

The gravel has been down for a number of years and yesterday I came across a photo from the first year or so, completely different. I usually weed it through the spring time but haven’t this year, I quite like the wide variety of plants surviving year after year including geraniums, poppies, thistles and a few tiny trees.
