Look no Feathers.

This is a slightly delayed post due to being too knackered to post yesterday.

After 6 consecutive blips of birds I thought I'd better post something without feathers lol.
My initial plan was a gentle stroll over to the new 'nature reserve' just past nearby Paignton, but I chose to go via the coast path. Then half way decided that I would continue on just past Goodrington (about 2 miles on from Paignton harbour) to a little shingle beach known as Elberry Cove to photograph what I thought was an old fisherman's cottage. Research done today (Monday) has told me that it was actually Lord Churston's bath house and dates back to the 18th century. This was also one of Agatha Christies favourite bathing spots, and is where Sir Carmichael Clarke met his untimely death in Agatha's 'The ABC Murders'.
On the way back I detoured to the 'nature reserve' at Clennon Valley, where I was able to photograph a pair of Canada Geese with a gosling, and a big grey heron along with swans (with cygnets), ducks and moorhens. Photos of these will be included among the extras on my blog once I've caught up with other days.
