MonoMonday: The Traditional British "Pinta"

Nickimags888 has set "On the Doorstep" as today's MM challenge.

What could be more British than the traditional doorstep "pinta"?

It's interesting that the dairy is now labelling the bottles with their date of manufacture - the oldest we seem to get are from 2016, so we wonder if some folk are a bit careless about returning them.

Our milkman is a lovely chap who inherited the business from his father before him. I don't envy his lifestyle though, getting up at 2-3 am 6 days a week (he leaves double on Saturdays).
