Acropolis sunset

The first fieldtrip to the Balkans culminated with a couple of days at a workshop in Athens. I've not been back since (this was October 2009). I am not sure that I want to at the present time...

Funnily enough, I had been worried about being ripped off by taxi drivers during my epic trip. In fact, it didn't happen until I got to Athens airport late at night (the night before this) and was charged an astronomical sum by the driver who insisted that the amount on the meter (already quite enough) was not the right sum, because he had to add on amounts for luggage and for the fact I had a seat in his car.... And the rest. I was very annoyed.
