The long walk!!

I’m blipping this out of interest as my most viewed blip ever is a similar picture taken at sea!!!!

We finally landed in Tokyo last night at about 8 pm and got to the hotel about 11pm. I slept fitfully and was shattered when I woke and got up at 7 am this morning.

We headed out at 9am for the obligatory city tour with the rest of our tour group, 24 of us, and visited a shrine, a temple, a sky tower and shops!!! All very interesting, apart from the shops which were incredibly expensive!!! A rather tired bunch headed back to the hotel at 5pm.

The city wasn’t as busy as I had expected, but was very clean and well organised. The people that we met were very courteous and friendly.

We had dinner in the hotel. Good choice of buffet, a chance to try tiny amounts of new foods which I would certainly not encounter at home.

Now for an early night.....sorely needed!!!
