My First Christmas Cake

This seems to be a year of firsts and in that vein I have made a Christmas cake. I baked it about a month ago and it has been 'resting' for the last month or so. I finally iced it today. I decided to keep it simple, but am pretty happy with the results. I haven't tasted it yet....so fingers crossed it tastes ok. Finally finished my working week, so have a few days off now to prepare for an enjoy Christmas. Bring it on!
