Kildrum

I was leading worship at Kildrum Parish Church in Cumbernauld this morning (photo above). It was a Youth Parade, so we had the Boys' Brigade and the Guides, including the Rainbows and Brownies, out in uniform - and an absolute credit to themselves and their families they were too.

The afternoon was spent watching football on TV then I went to see and hear Falkirk Festival Chorus sing Puccini's Requiem and the Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini.

I thought it was an excellent concert. I was very impressed by the conductor and the pianist, the four soloists were magnificent, while the Festival Chorus themselves were superb.
