The Stream Is Low

Goodness only knows how, with all the rain we have had recently.

SWMBO got up this morning and announced that she thought she should get some fresh air and suggested going to see how the bluebells were doing at Kinclaven Woods.
So we loaded the dog into the car and off we went.
Obviously the trees are as important as the flowers in a bluebell wood and Kinclaven has some very impressive beech and oaks. Unfortunately, many of them are at the end of their lives. Some of the dead ones are still standing and others are in the process of falling down. Some look like the walking dead and others are simply taking off.

After a most enjoyable walk round the wood we headed off to Stewart Tower Dairy for lunch.
