Happy Mother's Day from # 33
I had to do a double-take when I saw this little one-day wonder in the yard today. He was traveling with a couple of white-throated sparrows, all headed north for the summer. Brilliantly plumed and ready for love, yard bird #33, the White-crowned Sparrow.
I talked to my Mom last night, and Hubs' mom is here now. Soon, I'll be able to wrap my arms around my mom and give her a big Mother's Day hug - and I can't wait. In the meantime, I'm putting a shot of she and I in Extra - taken earlier this year in Arizona by my bestie, Peggy.

PS: Photo taken through a wet kitchen window. Temps in the 40's and a steady rain made going outside very displeasing, even if it meant an un-crisp image!
