Construction....

of a Shamanic drum! J is making a couple and for those who are interested they are made from an animal skin (leather) soaked in water and stretched over a circular or oblong frame and pulled taught with similar skin ....ties I suppose they’d be called. These have to be in one piece so it is a lot of work pulling some 25ft through each hole.
I had an easier day with some tidying in the garden, a trip to the tip and sowing some grass seed which is very old and so may not germinate but at least it’s now no longer cluttering up a shelf!
