Steinville !

Have moved north and are now in Padstow.
Have had trouble downloading today’s photographs and this was the only one that turned out and even then l had to crop off the bottom as it was just blank, not sure what’s going on.
Fittingly (even though it wasn’t the one l had in mind to Blip) it is a shot of one of Rick Stein’s establishments related to fish.
We noticed :-

Rick Stein’s Patisserie
Rick Stein’s Gift Shop.....
and there were others.
For those not in the U.K. Rick Stein is a TV chef who became famous for using locally caught fish in his one and only restaurant. He was often filmed at the harbour with his beloved dog Chalky buying fish straight off the boats and then cooking it.
Since TV fame his empire has grown and turned this once low key fishing village into a tourist attraction.
Cannot be denied he has brought a lot to the local economy and there were plenty of other eating places and shops that didn’t boast his name.
But l did like the name of my title that Mr P suggested:-)
