The Esplanade, Aberdeen

A chance to do some shopping today. My day off.

The road along the sea front was quiet at 11am when I headed into the city centre. One or two dog walkers and joggers, not many cars.

When I came back along the same route in the middle of this sunny afternoon the cars were parked nose to tail on both sides and there was a steady stream of traffic.

I had to wait a while to cross the road, but was then able to get a blip with not a single car.
The sands stretching for miles, the blue sea and blue sky were beautiful.
