A new niche in the garden.

Some weeks ago we felled, or more accurately had felled,  two large sycamores. The stumps were treated with some sort of killer juice but they are still producing lots of sap. The sap is now sustaining a healthy assemblage of larval invertebrates. As to what they are .....
