Just Trees

I took this while standing outside the Sprint store just to have something to do while waiting for some phone reconfigurations to be made which took an hour and a half to complete. Don't get me started on the "when-I-was-a-girl-all-you-had-to-do-was call-the-phone-company-and-they'd-come-install-a-phone-in-your-home" speech. I'm getting no mileage with that old lament anymore having been told in the nicest of ways that I'd better get myself into the 21st century or get left behind. It's not easy for someone who grew up when phones were attached to walls and you had to stop driving and find a phonebooth if you needed to make a call.

I wasn't planning to use this picture but the day didn't turn out to be as blip-friendly as planned but I actually like the lacy trees against the grey sky. It's admittedly a desperation blip as well as a backblip.

The day ended with a really good dinner at a local Italian restaurant (I decided not to blip my dessert) an early celebration with family I won't see on Christmas day, and a late evening of computer maintenance in which I was not allowed to participate. You'd think with all that going on I could have come up with a better blip, wouldn't you. Me too.
