Hair today, gone tomorrow

With just one day at home between the holiday and a work trip to Aberdeen, the hair appointment booked 6 weeks ago turned out to be on the exact right day!

The '99p shop' was giving away de-icer. A bit big for today's handbag, but not to be turned down, I felt. Indeed as I dodged hail showers on the way to the hairdressers, it occurred to me that this offer could well be the second incidence of perfect timing of the day.
