Working while others play

Visited the Yu Yuan Gardens today. It's Buddha's birthday weekend. It was crowded.
Like many oriental gardens, this is about buildings (with dark coloured wood) and water. So despite being a bright day, a lot of the most interesting stuff was in very dark places, and there were some extremely high contrast areas too.
Following that it was off to Xin Tian Di, a 20's/30's neighbourhood that has been re-invented as a "shopping, dining and entertainment" destination (tourist trap).
On the way back to the metro we passed an interesting sculpture outside a store - see extras.
As usual, pretty well straight from the camera, minimal processing (yet) and some extras.
