Day 3 of the West Kirby Sailing Cl;ub's 70th Wilson Trophy event . Strong, cold winds, choppy waters and bright sunshine.  Exciting stuff, with local teams competing with others from the UK, Europe, the USA and as far afield as Australia.

I've been away from Blipfoto for a long time, we're now a few months into our new life back in the UK (I'll have to change my name, no longer British in Rio, which made me a pseudo-carioca, or beach dweller, and the word used to describe those born in Rio). Although I'm still close to the beaches, just windier and colder than the Rio version - and liking our new home, though no fixed address as yet.
