Buddha's Birthday
Today we accidentally gate-crashed Buddha's birthday celebrations in Leicester Square. We were up in London for a late birthday/Christmas present of sushi and a movie and stumbled upon an event to celebrate Buddha's birthday.
The chanting service was quite magical in the late afternoon light. Inspired by some of the images in the mindfulness talk at camera club, I'd been trying out long exposures and over exposing images to give a feel of the sensory overload that being in the city gives you. I think it helped add a bit of extra magic to the photos of the chanting service. All very serendipitous!
