Hundreds of butterflies

Monarch butterflies wintering over.  Probably thousands of them sharing warmth on the same tree.

For Mum for mothers day.  Mum always loved my photos of these, but whenever I took her to the park in Nelson where they often are, we never found any.  

She, of course, will never see this photo either, but I hope she knows I was thinking of her when I went on a hunt for them today.
