Bob

Funny day again.

The dog walk preceded another day of driving. M's sister F and niece O are coming to ours for Christmas and I went down to collect them at Tarbet on Loch Lomond side.

Its normally a nice scenic run but the driving rain and gale force gusts on the way made for a horrid drive. Passengers all delivered safely and I'm home now.

I had some fanciful notion of a Rannoch Moor blip (you know the spot I mean) or something in Glen Coe but time table and weather proved prohibitive.

The dog walk provides the blip. Bob rubbed in something really smelly and I lured him down to this burn to get cleaned off. The image, by chance, puts me in mind of those classic Alaska shots of huge bears fishing for Pacific salmon on rock outcrops between the sprays of foam.

This is just Bob the Labrador, its a wee hill burn and there's no salmon but apart from that..............

Bob's family have just picked him up. They were understandably pleased to see him and we have enjoyed his company this last few days. He's a happy friendly boy who loves everyone.
