Eagles

Yesterday was Viking Day. Did you kiss a Viking? Neither did I. I also did not go to the Viking event in Virginia. I went looking for eagles instead. At some point I found this little toy and later put her on a tree for a shot. I hope people see her and laugh. 

Finally Samuel said he'd really like to go home. On the way home we met a couple who knew where the eagles at Lake Frank live AND offered to show me. Samuel had enough by then so they gave me their address, I brought Samuel home, and then drove over. I believe I can find it tomorrow too. 

A juvenile was in the nest. No good shots were available because there were branches in the way but then a parent returned and then decided to go out to the branch and pose. I shot until my battery died. 

I decided on the second extra should be an eagle a little closer.
