Goldfinch

The May bank holiday is here. Doesn't start very well. It's cold and raining. So I spend the morning editing photos. There are visitors to the bird feeder. However, only this goldfinch visits while I have the camera to hand.

After lunch, we visit Morningside. The rain has stopped and the sun comes out, but the wind is very cold. After visiting the charity shops, we go for coffee and sit at the window. The clouds choose this moment to disperse entirely. It's very warm, perhaps we shouldn't have chosen to sit there. A pleasant end to the day though.
