Saturday .....

...... project!!
Well what a mixed day , both weather wise and !! well I'll tell you later.
By 8.25am I was at the refuse tip where my great guys helped by taking the 2 sacks of weeds etc from yesterday. It was a quick turn around , I was back indoors by 8.40am . After I had breakfast I went to the garden centre and collected the said items blipped. ( went I got home it rained / hailed then the sun shone in equal measures)
Then I went into Sainsbury's to shop for weekend meal and a little gift for !! tell you much later. Back home I had a coffee then to start on my out door project .
After giving the inside of the hedge , on one side , a haircut I processed to weed ( with difficulty) and put the bark chippingsdown . Then I managed to pot- up 4 of the 12 geraniums I collected this morning. Now it has started to look a bit tidy in the front.
Guess what happened next ::: well if you start a project you need to clear up! Swept all rubbish on the path and put into bag (already having being half filled with weeds), collecting the tools together took half of them into the shed, oh no I didn't , I fell tools thrown on the ground in front of me. What a pickle I was in , gradually I manipulated myself onto my back that's good , but not good enough cos' I just couldn't get up. Then to crown it all we had a hail storm , not only did I get wet but it really hurt , tho' it was fairly short it was heavy. Nothing for it but to call for help , I think I was in this state for about 20 minutes eventually someone passing came to my rescue. With their help I managed to get up. Bless them they were so attentive and worried , I assured them I was ok ( we'll sort of!) . I finished putting the tools away and then put some plants into 2 hanging baskets. Hopefully I'll be able to finish tomorrow.
I had a cuppa and became a bit dizzy hey ho power for the course. I'll get over it. Must say I felt pretty stupid calling for help !

Very wet trousers and coat now in washing machine.
