School vs schooled

A friend and colleague has been inviting me over to ride her show jumping and eventing horses for ages, possibly years. Finally we all had a weekend free today.

Unfortunately we got to the yard to find one of them (she has four) had been kicked by his field mate overnight and needed the vet to come and staple a cut on his stifle, which meant we couldn't go on the hack we'd planned.

It did mean I got to do some school work with the gorgeous George though. Riding a schooled horse rather than a school horse was very different, and great fun.
