Flower Friday

After bible study this morning, Ev and I headed out to the flower market at Prince Edward to buy flowers to give out to the mums in church on Sunday. It’s Mother’s Day in the rest of the world!

Mission accomplished and as I was over laden with flowers, Ev sent me home in a taxi (a luxury) as she continued on to an appointment and couldn’t help carry them back to DB.

Baked a cake for an order for tomorrow, will be my second dog cake!

Had a few friends come over in the evening to help assemble to flowers in individual packets. There are some lovely colours of roses :).

While we packaged, the kids watched The Sound of Music. It was super to sing along, haven’t seen it in such a long time!! Loved it.
