Aimee in hospital

My dear friend Aimee Sitarz, creator of the Bronze Shoes, had surgery yesterday on her neck, as she had a nerve impingement and some disk problems from an old injury. It turned out to be much more serious than had been expected, requiring fusion, and the staff has not been able to achieve pain control. She is in excruciating pain. I spent much of yesterday and this morning with her, but today I have an archiving workshop to attend, so I won't be with her, though my thoughts are there. She is furious, says she wants to kill everyone. Wonderful, I say. Great attitude! Anger is so much better than other options.
