Tornado
SATURDAY
I was in two minds whether to do the Parkrun this morning, but seeing as I was up in good time I headed over to Huddersfield to the one at Greenhead Park. Took it nice and steady from the back of the grid and finished on 26:14 which is a good minute slower than my usual time.
Later in the morning I headed off through North Dean Woods to catch a glimpse of the "Mad Hatter" excursion passing through the Calder Valley on its way from Darlington to Chester. The train was pulled by the Tornado 60163 locomotive.
Off to Halifax for a late lunch and shopping. After a sunny start to the day it's now tipping it down.
