Flower Friday

Spent the day cleaning and reorganising cupboards. Our guest bathroom is finished and awaiting our first guest to use it next week. All the jackets, shoes, towels, linen, hats, scarves, gloves, and stuff we didn't know where else to put were cleaned out of the bigger, old bathroom and dumped anywhere. I was still in Australia last year when Hubby had to clean it out on his own to start the renovation. It has taken a year but I have found permanent places for a lot of the stuff and culled a lot of clothes. I have a bag of shoes to take to the local shoe shop for recycling and a bag of towels to take to the dog rescue centre. We bought a cheap chest to put in the attic storage room for the spare guest bedding and such as we get mice in there from time to time. They made a nest in amongst clothes in one of those vacuum storage bags once. Hubby has been helping a friend with a garden construction all day so I was able to achieve a lot undisturbed.
