Crazy day

The day started with a final survey and payment of deposit for the bifold doors. Tick.
Mum and I went for a walk, it was sunny but cool. I had a long conversation with Toria on the phone while she was walking to the station in Cardiff. She has to change at Crewe, it takes 6 hours in all to get to Carlisle.

I Took mum to the skin doctor in the afternoon to get a patch of skin checked out, good news, it's not nasty and she doesn't need her face removing. It's caused by not using a high sun factor when she was younger, so no more olive oil and lemon juice for her! At least the doctor was able to give her some cream.

Charlotte and I were collecting Toria from a cocktail bar (Yellow Jacket) before heading out to Will's meal at the Spider and Fly. We were a bit early and had to drag her away from a couple of cocktails and a couple of guys whom she was deep in conversation with.

We all eventually met up at the Spider and Fly. The air was filled with cocktails, mocktails for me (I was driving), laughter, good conversation, delicious food, cards and presents for Will. It was a good night.
