New Orleans, Day 5 of 7: After the Rain

It rained hard all night with thunder and lightning. After breakfast of Sweet Potato waffles and cane syrup (breakfasts have been super good with savory one day and sweet the next), I headed back upstairs for a long stretch of solitude. I read and had a good nap. Sleep has been elusive at best, and nothing beats lying in bed listening to it rain outside. We had an early dinner at Bayona. See Extras.
