Blue Ridge Parkway
The NC mountains along the https://www.blueridgeparkway.org/ This is the type of scene they are famous for.
Today we traveled the Pisqah section, going from about mile marker 408 to Cherokee and back.
You can never tire of the sights. In extras is a collage showing some of the tunnels, azaleas, rocks and the 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster we met along the way!
In Cherokee, we went to Poo’s shop and her husband was working today. We visited with him for a while and were so happy to see Mark Parker working on the porch making some jewelry. Mark had a couple a pieces that were new designs for him. Kent bought a couple of pieces of his work! Yay!
Bought a scarf that is infused with natural bug repellent (made from marigolds etc) and is great as you don’t smell and it keeps the bugs away. Wish I had I yesterday at the garden center as I got bitten several times.
