Leafy Friday

A domesticated sort of day interspersed with a few jaunts with the camera.

Flower Friday has an optional theme of leaves this week...there were plenty to choose from in the garden!

Last night I managed to catch the Flying Scotsman (see extra) as it hurtled through East Lothian enroute from York to Edinburgh, it also had the Mayflower attached...it sure put out a lot of steam/smoke.

Still no visible signs of the baby blackbirds but they seem to be getting fed plenty. In other news we have a pair of swans (2nd extra) on the irrigation pond and some ducklings. I haven’t yet seen the ducklings but the swans enjoyed the bird seed I fed them this evening.
