Blueberry Bells

It's not been a very exciting day but I have managed to mow the grass before the showers returned, so there's a result.  All this rain has sent the garden mad so I'm hoping there will be some warmth and dry this weekend to get to grips with the weeding.

Gardeners can you answer a question about the veronica I have on the rockery?  It is the only plant which is being 'attacked' by something.  I keep finding its trailers cut off and picked up a handful today.  It's surrounded by grit so I'm not thinking slugs, and they haven't been eaten, just cut??

I have to keep an eye on my two blueberry bushes right now as these bells will soon drop and then the berries will begin to grow, when it will be time to fleece them against the blackbirds.  I'm hoping I have lots for my porridge this year.
