On Guard

We had torrential rain here today, that cleared this afternoon so I trudged along the river to see if anything has happened with Swan eggs : nothing. But father is now patrolling quite aggressively so perhaps something will happen soon.
The rain has bought a wondrous whoosh of lush growth : I love it.
