Peony

Here's a flower with a lot of leaf, seemed appropriate for today's Flower Friday with extra theme 'leaves', thanks Anni/BikerBear for hosting !

There's a re-run of The Art Of Flower Photography by Emma Davies. While on holiday I haven't got my clamp nor my tripod or other photo props, but I can kind of improvise what to do and the natural light this morning was ok for a bit of improvised 'studio' photography. And when I saw these peonies in Tesco I just couldn't resist them, now could I !?

Had coffee and a stroll through the Gleneagles grounds with OU friends this morning, and they brought me white roses, so now I have two bouquets to capture, with thanks to Daryl and Pete !

This afternoon we went to the Tullibardine distillery for another whisky tour and tonight we're going for an early Continental Mother's Day dinner at the fancy Strathearn restaurant in the hotel itself.
