Abandoned

Another pair of forgotten shoes in the park. It does make you wonder. Perhaps it was a case of spontaneous human combustion.

In other park news, the new bridge they’ve been building across the river for the past week will be opened tomorrow, so I’ve just been informed. There always used to be a perfectly good bridge there but, for some reason, during the years we’ve been walking elsewhere it was removed, making it necessary for people to walk the long way round on the roadside. Nice that they’ve now put this right. Elsewhere in the village, the Co-op which was ram-raided the other day, has now been patched up and it’s business as usual, albeit with fewer shelves (I found this morning).
