Life in the old log yet.......

apologies for that but couldn't resist!

I've been laid low with shingles for a few days, nasty stuff but now on antiviral meds so hoping to be up and about soon.
This felled tree I pass regularly but rarely pay it any attention, H and I plus Fin walked up river to our nearest hamlet Abbey St Bathans where we enjoyed coffee and cake at The Riverside Bakehouse. We passed this old tree and for the first time I noticed how much life it is hosting.
