Diamonds on Red Velvet

Because, of course, "raindrops on roses" is now trite, shame though, because no wonder they were one of her favourite things.

Enough rain to still be drops this morning, but not a drop more today, and not enough to penetrate the hard ground.

Gratefuls:
- roses in our garden, and raindrops shining on them and everywhere else, especially on the cobwebs
- Mike seeing the doctor today, and being told he can work, though still needs the last bit of laser treatment
- long chinwag with my sister in Texas, and her husband
