Hidden Away in Halifax

The Shears Inn is quite difficult to find - it's at the bottom of a cobbled road just after passing a large mill chimney, You would never expect to find a pub in this unique location, 
The pub used to be in rolling fields and then way back in the 1800's the mills were built around it.
The intriguing address - 1 Paris Gates - is a corruption of 'Parish Gates' - because it was situated right on the outskirts of Halifax.
