Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization
I found this during a short walk. There's a sign a few blocks away pointing to a memorial for a Capt. David Lynn. Nearby is a large stone column with his life story. He fought in the Revolutionary War. His home, Rose Hill, was in this location. He is buried at the Rose Hill cemetery, which is a little north of here.
The actual Rose Hill was demolished in 1968 for the interstate highway.
This is taken at the headquarters of the Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization.
This is my 2,000th blip. Thanks for sticking around.
