Clematis Tree?

Not a new variety of Clematis, but one which sems to prefer to grow up the tree than on the fence:-)  Looks very pretty.

A much better day today, though still chilly and I had a wander round the garden to see what's appeared after all the rain.  As well as loads of Clematis everywhere, I discovered some Welsh Poppies and a Lilac bush.  (See Extras)  Lots of overgrown shrubs too whuch need cutting back to see what's lurking underneath.

Friend L starts her chemo today, so fingers crossed for her.
