Freebies

Yesterday when we went to Whole Foods, I impulsively put two bouquets of these gorgeous peonies in my cart.  When it was time for the checkout lady to ring them up, her scanner could not read the barcode on the cellophane wrappers protecting the flowers.  She asked me if I knew how much they were, and I replied that I did not.  She then asked the guy who was helping to bag the groceries to check the price, but he just shrugged his shoulders, looked at the lengthening line of customers behind me, and said "At this point, just give them to her!"  Lucky me!
