Lament

Went up to the allotment and managed a bit of work, despite the rain (and it was frigging cold as well!), then D went off to shop for his supplies. Then we tackled the decaying grout/sealant in the bathroom task, eventually accomplished, mostly by DaveH. Ate at P. Express for a small treat and went to bed quite early.

Rather than dripping leaves in the rain I give you “Lament”, a broadside ballad composed by Steve Byrne about six years ago - I had dug it out of the archives for someone else, but enjoyed re-reading it. The tune of “The Wee Magic Stane” is also used for “The Molecatcher”, “Sweet Betsy from Pike” and probably many more, should you feel moved to sing it.
